Excuse my friends for using sutch bad language with their dutch, they are out of control.. or maby i´m out of control a bit to i guess :P

So yea, i took a bus from the capital of hondarus, and went straight to nigaragua, and after crossing the boarder i took a bus to managua, the capital of nigaragua... and on the bus i started to talk to a local, kinda my age guy, in english! finely... and he could tell me alot about his country, where to go and what to do, very friendly. and after having a great talk he invited me to his house, to talk some more, and after going around town and eating somewhere there, i did, sleep at his house.

Next morning we said goodbye, and after a short explination i ended up taking the right bus, that took me to the right terminal, and from there i took a bus towards te boarder of costa rica... But i diddn´t go there just jet, he told me I had to see this huge lake: lago de nigaragua, and ended up going to this island in it, ometepe. and island that exists out of 2 volcanos... after taking a taxi from where the bus dropped me off in Rivas, i took a taxi to the boat..

The boat ride was the worst i ever had... i was seated on the lowest dek of this small boat, and the waves made the boat... swang from left to right... i was happy when an our later i arrived...

And diced to go with this australian guy(named ross, we just looked at a map, and pointed at somewhere with nice beaches, and took a bus there... buteh.. it was like a 2 our ride.. the island was bigger the i thought and the bus was very.. slow.. bad roads :P and on that bus i met a dutch guy, who turned out to come from Enschede and went to the same school as me.. 6 years earlier (his name is Boudewijn mogendorf; *en hij zij dat hij Eibe kende*) .. first time i met an other traveler from enschede... buteh, he knew where he was going, and we decided to go with him, and this denish girl, to this coffyfarm/hotel, And as we jumped from the bus an english and 2 argentinian guys that where in the bus as well, went with us, and very quickly we fromed a little group of 7...

The next day all of us went together to do some kayaking on the other side of the volcano, after taking one bus, the next bus turned out to be.. 3 ours later, and we started walking, and luckely got picked up by some lokals, with a pickup car, and we could all (barly) fit in it, and we ended up at the kayaking place.. we had some lunch, and then went to a cheaper place very close, and from there we he hired kayaks. And went to: monkey island :).

They told us not to come too close, the monkeys might trow stuff at you... all the more reason to go, so we kayaked about an our along the coast.. against the heavy stream, and made it to monkey island.

That was cool, the monkeys came pretty close, and broke a twig and treatent us.. but they where like.. not even a meter high and we were not scared, but amazed by how these monkeys tried to treatent us.. and decided not to enter the island... they were with more :P went back.. and where foreced to walk all the way back to the hotel, and luckely it was kinda full moon, and we could see where we were walking more or less.. took us like 2 ours to walk back... no busses..

next day.. we climed the volcano! with a guild, i luckely could borrow sandels of boudewijn, and to do this pretty hard hike.. damn... it was.. 4 ours up, and looked at some nice fews.. slipping and sliding trough the mud.. and 4 ours down, where slipped a few times.., cause those sandels (tefas) where not good for that slippery desending.. But i made it back, dead tired, and spend the rest of the evening drinking beer and rum.. loads of fun :P..

and the next day, today, we all took the boat back, and split in 2 groups from there, i ended up going with the australian and english guy, and we took a taxi too san guan, a little beach town, very nice, relax...

so we stay here for an extra day, maby surf tomorrow :) i´ll go to costa rica the day after, and then maby to panama..

I changed my plans: i think there is heaps to do in central amerika, and i would like to go back to guatamala, i really like it there, and i got some busniss/education to do...

i´m not gonne make it to brazil in time for the carnafal.. (i´ll go an other time ;) ) and i think i´ll need more then 2-3 months, and learn more spanish..
if i want to do south amerika the next trip maby...

But i might change my mind again, who knows..

well, cya next time

Greetings
Albert
