Hitch hiking!

Hello everyone,
A few days ago I walked out of kasteel nieuwenhoven, put my thump up and like an hour later, with a belgium driver, I picked up Rob from the station in Luik. The old Belgium we hitchhiked with had nothing to do and brought us like 300km on hour way; somewhere between the city of luxemburg and Metz. It was funny cauze we diddn't care where we wanted to go, south or west please :)
All of a sudden we where waiting for 2 hours and nobody on the whole huge parkinglot/shop/gasstation could or wanted to take us with them. We made big signs with place names, played guitar and even managed to talk to Italian and spanish people but nothing worked.
There where other hitch hikers and we got the tip that we should ask people who at the gas station; we did and half an hour later we got picked up by a french dude. By the way: it was amazing how mutch french people spoke english; interesting what they had to tell us and all the people who picked us up hitch hiked when they where young. We also learned alot about france and stuff (but this always happens when you travel :0)
Anyways we hitch hiked and it was a lot of fun. On the first night we got dropped off by this old dutch guy(who couldn't stop talking) in some villeage near Dijon. There we put hour tents up hidden behind some salix caprea's. I slept bad because I diddn't put up my tent probably :P.
The next day we hitch hiked maybe 450km. There this french young dude who just came from some reagge festival diddn't was tired, and in the end dropped us off in the center of Avignon. There we went to an internet cafe to check couchsurfing and whohoo; we had a couch near the city of bezier. Because we think it is hard to hitch hike from the center of a city we took a train and arrived around 20:00 in bezier where the couchsurfer Florance, was waiting for us.
So now we are actually in valras plage, (a touristy village near the coast) and we stay in a house 200 meters from the beach. Florance is a very good cook and we eat all kinds of local Mediteranian foodstuffs.
Anyways a lot happend in the last 4 days, more then I can tell you; but I hope I scetched an Image :)
